Rush Limbaugh admits unions make mines safe, hold companies accountable. Heads explode nationwide.
Was there no union responsibility for improving mine safety? Where was the union here? Where was the union? The union is generally holding these companies up demanding all kinds of safety. Why were these miners continuing to work in what apparently was an unsafe atmosphere?

OMG – WTF?? “Where was the union?” Is Rush on drugs or something?
Oh, uh, never mind…
Rush is blaming the Union. Do you believe the Rush listeners will know it was a non union mine? I suppose you expect Rush to inform them of the truth.
Hasn’t it already been rampantly document that there is no union representation at Blankenship’s mine?
If not, trust me – even the most reluctant ditto heads will be told in loud and clear tones pretty quickly.
Dittoheads are uninterested in such triffling notions as “truth” or “reality” when they can suck at the teat of Rush’s brand of “nooz” and outrage (yeah: don’t think about that too long, or your brain will implode).
If elRushbo brought up the unions, it was only in order to bash them in some way.
And I seriously doubt if many dittoheads will really know that the Massey mine wasn’t unionized, nor would they care if they did. Dittoheads have been carefully taught that every single union is the evil satan spawn of hell out to rip off the corporate overlords to whom we all bow.
The rightwing noise machine has spent it’s precious 15 min on this mining disaster (worst ever) asking the viewing public to waste about 10 seconds of their time “feeling bad” about it. And now: their work is done, and the viewing/listening populace can go back to indulging themselves in other forms of junk viewing and substance abuse, including junk food.
Pay no attention to what Rush says, as it’s essentially meaningless.
